24th Annual Thanksgiving Soccer Tournament

The Bordentown Thanksgiving Soccer Tournament has been a Thanksgiving Day weekend tradition for hundreds of teams for the past 24 years. This year’s tournament will be held on Friday November 29, 2002 through Sunday December 1, 2002. All teams are guaranteed three games with the possibility of a championship game. We are expecting over 150 teams for this year’s tournament. Teams from New York, Pennsylvania and Delaware attended last year’s tournament.

Locations:
Games will be played at BCSA, Friendship Field, Bordentown NJ or Fort Dix Fields, Fort Dix NJ.

Sanctions:
The BCSA Thanksgiving Soccer Tournament is approved by NJYSA. Travel permits are required for all teams outside of New Jersey.

Competition:
The Tournament will offer Divisions in U-9, U-10, U-11, U-12, U-13, U-14, U-15, U-16, U-17, U-18 for boys and girls travel teams. The BCSA Thanksgiving Soccer Tournament is not open to league, state or regional select teams.   U-9 and U-10 divisions will be played on small sized fields.

Registration:
Registration will be on Tuesday, November 26, 2002 at the Bordentown Sr. Citizens Building, Municipal Drive, Bordentown, and From 6 to 10 p.m. For directions, click here. All state certified roster and permission to travel forms (for out-of-state teams only) must be presented at that time along with medical release forms and player passes.

Schedules/Brackets:
Schedules will be on our this page one week prior to the tournament. Please check for changes to schedules at registrations. Schedule requests will not be considered.

Tournament Fees:
Fees are $325.00 for U-9, U-10 teams and $375.00 for U-11, U-12, U-13, U-14, U-15, U-16, U-17, U-18 teams. Fees must be received before application can be considered complete.

Application:
You can print our Mail-in Application. All teams will receive confirmation of application, acceptance, and schedules via email. Email addresses are required and the preferred method of communication for our tournament, however, schedule will be mailed for those specifically requesting it.

Application Deadlines:
The completed application must be received by October 31, 2002.

Awards:
First and second place awards will be presented in age groups u-11 to u18. Team awards will be presented to all players in age groups u-9 and u-10.

Tournament Souvenirs:
Official Tournament T-Shirts and programs will be available at all field sites throughout the weekend. T-Shirts will also be available at registration.

Ft. Dix Directions and Security Information

Please allow yourself 1.5 hours prior to your games. There is a check-in at the gate and all ADULTS we will required to have a photo ID. Players will be asked what teams they play for.

The BCSA Tournament Committee hopes everyone understands that this is for everyone's protection.
